Laird Hamilton: fit to ride

Gabby Reece and Laird Hamilton have teamed up to debut one of the most practical fitness websites available over the internet. The pro volleyball player and the big wave surfer have recently published a very complete fitness and nutrition program at www.gabbyandlaird.com.

The main goal is to keep you in shape and healthy, all year round. Gabby and Laird have developed a 90-day routine for women and men.

The functional workout model kicks off with simple, low-intensity single movement exercises that anyone can do, and then progress to more demanding compound movements which simultaneously exercise multiple parts of your body.

The G&L fitness schedule has three main levels: beginner, intermediate and advanced program, each one lasting for 30 days. If you're happy with the transformation, you can then move to the extreme phase of performance workouts.

The program is free and does not require a gym membership. You can train at home, with chairs, steps, stairs, sand bags and a resistance ball. All you need is motivation to be healthier and live longer.

Additionally, it is possible to learn and design a nutrition plan based on recipes you enjoy. The perfect smoothie, Laird's vanilla wake-up juice, a breakfast burrito, salads, meat loaf and tasty fish.

The 90-day fitness program by Gabby Reece and Laird Hamilton is a must-see for surfers of all levels. This is public service.
