"Mavericks: Everest of the Seas" is an incredible art and photographic exhibition that will be open at the Coastal Arts League in Half Moon Bay from February 12 to 28.

Jeff Clark, Ed Grant, Brian Overfelt, Tony Canadas, Elizabeth Pepin Silva, Fred Pompermayer, Don Montgomery, Art Gimbel, Tom Rissacher, and Seth Migdail show outstanding-quality pictures of surfing in Mavericks.

Color, black-and-white, wipeouts, huge take-offs, and gnarly rides are captured by the experienced eyes of surf photographers.

"Mavericks: Everest of the Seas" also features a collection of big wave guns designed and shaped by surf master Jeff Clark. These surfboards are special, as they are only used in the big wave surf.

The world-renowned big-wave break is located one-half mile off the coast of Half Moon Bay, California. Mavericks is not only dangerous for surfers.

Thousands of journalists, photographers, and jet ski drivers put their lives at risk in the infamous Californian wave.
