SurferToday.com has announced the winners of the «Athletes Of The Year 2009» award.

The laurels are presented to the surfers, kitesurfers, windsurfers and bodyboarders that represent the cutting edge of performance in each individual wave and wind water sport.

   Agile and fast, the experienced French windsurfer has done it again. At the age of 37, he won again the PWA World Tour and has a lot to achieve in the speed sailing competitions.

  Mike Stewart

   The Science bodyboarder knows how to be on top forever. After winning the giant wave event at Nazaré, Portugal, he fought for the world title till the last minute.
