Raph Derome claimed the 2016 Malibu Sparks Pro, at Sparks Marina, in Nevada.
The wakeboarder from Coteau-Du-Lac, Quebec, took the third event of the Wakeboard World Series (WBWS), and he was the only athlete to stand up on both passes of the final.
"It's an amazing feeling to walk away with the win here at the 2016 Malibu Sparks Pro. This is such an awesome event that was put on the entire weekend, and I am fortunate to have the epic wake of the M235, which helped me uncork some huge tricks and grab the Men's Pro win," explained Derome.

Tony Iacconi has claimed a maiden win in the Supra Boats Pro Wakeboard Tour (PWT).
The Australian wakeboarder, 19, took out the Mooresville event in grand fashion with one of greatest two-run performances of his career. Iacconi impressed the crowd at Lake Norman with two near-perfect passes.
"I am so pumped to get up on the top spot. I went out there with a goal and did what I had to do with my tricks on the first run. Then on my second run, I didn't really know what I could do better, so I grabbed a couple of things to get a score," revealed Tony Iacconi.

Cory Teunissen claimed the Nautique European Pro/Am 2016 in the stunning spot of Castelo de Bode, near Ferreira do Zezere, in Portugal.
The world's best amateur and professional wakeboarders enjoyed three sunny days of competition in front of an enthusiastic crowd. The sport of wakeboarding is rapidly growing in a country where surfing and bodyboarding are the king and queen of watersports.
In the Pro Men's final, Teunissen had a dream run which included a mute mobe five to the flats. With a score of 92.00, it was enough to smash Mike Dowdy and Tony Iaconni.
