BWA Cornwall: are you ready for this?

Things are hotting up again for what was the best attended British wave event of 2009! The event will continue to have a massive amateur focus and of course will be the deciding round of the Pro Tour and right now as we head into Tiree all podium positions are up for grabs. Add this to the world class conditions we often get in Britain's wave riding capital and it's not to be missed!

We are pleased to announce that Pura Vida Boardriders and No Limitz Masts have guaranteed a £500 minimum prize fund for the pro contest, and a massive supply of prizes for all amateur and team categories.

The super fun and easy going Amateur Team format will be running again this year. All you need to do is come in teams of 3 OR we'll put you in one at registration if you don't have one already organised. Your combined results go together to score points and give you the team's position at the end of the contest.

This is purely for fun and each team will get mentoring and advice from a pro or celebrity rider. We can't stress enough what a great experience this is for budding wave sailors, so there's no need to worry too much about your ability, just get stuck in and enjoy the buzz!

Saturday night will be party time. There are many options in the Gwithian and Hayle area for accommodation or camping, but the Sandsifter have kindly allowed all contestants to stay in vans (no tents) in their vast car park at Gwithian for the event from Thursday free of charge.

Please keep an eye on the BWA site and join the facebook group for updates, forecast predictions and beach selection closer to the time.

Whether you think of a kite as a wing or a sail, you want it to be lightweight, resistant, waterproof, but also stiff and flexible at the same time, so that they could respond to all flight requests.
