Jersey, Channel Islands: lots of space to windsurf

The Guernsey windsurfing team has won the Channel Islands Windsurfing Championship, held in St Ouen’s Bay, UK.

Andrew Hutchinson took the first place, Matt Le Poidevin was second and Matt Stark got third place, which means a full podium for Guernsey.

The competition was held with more than six winds with 10-15ft waves. The Jersey team was playing in home waters, but will have to wait for the next competition to reconquer the title.

This time, judges decided to score control and style of waves jumps.

Are you on a week-long beach holiday? Have you bought bodyboard for your kid? Smart move. Get ready to introduce your offspring to the waves easily and safely. It is going to be fun.
