Paulo dos Reis: the Formula dominator

Paulo dos Reis has taken the Lagos Iberian Cup 2011, in Algarve, Portugal. The Brazilian windsurfer got the most out of the sunny and rainy days of competition.

The six Formula Windsurfing races were completely dominated by Paulo dos Reis. In the last day, there was no wind available for the remaining races, so the fleet stayed in firm land.

Miguel Martinho, the best Portuguese, secured the second place, leaving Pablo Barrachina in third, Fernando del Cerro in fourth and Pieter Eliens in fifth.

"This is a great place for big international events. There's a professional organizing club and excellent conditions on the water and on the beach. I'll be in the next big events in Lagos, for sure", says Paulo dos Reis.

The Lagos Iberian Cup 2011 gathered 39 windsurfers from six countries: Portugal, Spain, Estonia, Latvia, Holland and Brasil.

Whether you think of a kite as a wing or a sail, you want it to be lightweight, resistant, waterproof, but also stiff and flexible at the same time, so that they could respond to all flight requests.
