Lachlan Cramsie: champagne shower at Knights Beach

Lachlan Cramsie has taken out the 2018 SunZapper Knights Beach Pro, in Port Elliot, South Australia.

The second event of the 2018 Australian Bodyboarding Association (ABA) Tour traveled to the deep south for the longest-running professional bodyboard contest in the country.

Knights Beach delivered highly contestable left-hand wedges which allowed riders to put out everything they trained in the pre-season.

The event ran for the 11th year and finished with incredible waves. First-time finals competitor Silas Ganciar went down to 2017 ABA Tour champion, Lachlan Cramsie, in a hard-fought heat.

In the Pro Junior division, Ezra and Nathanael Golebiowski showed us how the future of bodyboarding looks like, but it was Liam Lucas who claimed the top honors.

The next stop on the 2018 ABA Tour will take place in the warmer waters of the east coast. The Inverted Duranbah Pro runs from June 16-17, in New South Wales.
