Danny Ja: ready to take on the pros

Kyle Calandra has conquered the SkimBash 2012, at Sea Bright, New Jersey, USA.

After a day of rain, wind and just-for-fun heats, the pro division entered the water in wonderful weather conditions. Light breeze, sunny skies and contestable waves were the main ingredients for another classic skimboard event.

Professional and amateur riders really wanted to show off in the premier skimboarding contest of the Jersey shore. All ages, all skills. Prizes and trophies for everyone.

In the end, Kyle Calandra was crowned winner of the SkimBash 2012. He was followed by Derek Shenton, Tony Bianchi and Joey Antonelli in the pro division. Danny Ja won the semi-pro category and will certainly be ready for higher rides.
