Miss Reef Calendar 2013: sensuality in Galapagos

The 2013 Miss Reef Calendar has visited the mysterious Galapagos Islands, 600 miles off the coast of Ecuador.

The enchanted islands of the Pacific Ocean have been visited by the fourth installment of the Miss Reef Calendar. The new chapter of the five-year series has moored in Galapagos.

Californian photographer Chris Straley and Reef creative director Mark Tesi decided to capture the sensuality of the iconic Miss Reef girls in the pristine landscapes of San Cristobal.

"The 2013 Miss Reef Calendar is dedicated to the welcoming people of Ecuador, particularly the Galápagos and San Cristobal, for their warm hospitality and enthusiasm in collaboration on this project", explains the surf brand.

Latin America is the inspiration of the last Miss Reef Calendar footage. Galapagos consists of 13 main islands, 3 smaller islands, and 107 rocks and islets.

Warm hospitality, breathtaking coastlines and welcoming people. After Brazil, Panama and Puerto Rico, the Galápagos Islands celebrate the passion of the Miss Reef concept for exotic locations.

Shot partially with traditional film and keeping the rich ecology and culture in mind, the result is a refreshing take on a longstanding Reef tradition.
