Kinsley ThomasWong: he'll be back soon

Kinsley ThomasWong, who had a serious kiteboarding accident last summer, is finally recovering from his injuries at the Santa Clara Valley Medical Center.

The 43-year-old pro kiteboarder from Pismo Beach was kiteboarding in gusty winds when he was pulled out of the water and against the rocks.

ThomasWong, the owner of XtremeBigAir, now has sensation into the C4 region (pectorals and chest above the nipples, upper part of the arm/shoulder) and he is also breathing with his full belly.

Doctors say progress made in spinal injuries is all about what muscles and parts he has control over and less what he can physically move.

Kinsley is doing great and he is very happy of becoming a dad. Taizen ThomasWong was born on the 26th of August.

Meanwhile, all support is welcome.
