Antoine Albeau: tired of winning events | Photo: Carter/PWA

Antoine Albeau and Sarah Quita Offringa have stolen the 2015 Ulsan PWA World Cup titles, in Jinha Beach, South Korea.

It's all over. The thermal winds come through, and the world's best slalom windsurfers were able to crown champions in the Far East. Two rounds were completed for the men and four for the women.

In the Men's division, four sailors went over early: Cyril Moussilmani, Malte Reuscher, Andrea Ferin and Finian Maynard. As the wind dropped, sailors were released and the first day's standings remained as they were.

"It was a very good event for me in Korea. First event and first place. It was a good battle for the first place. So happy to win. Rendezvous in Costa Brava, Spain, in June," expressed Albeau.

In the Women's division, Sarah-Quita Offringa, Lena Erdil, Fulya Ünlü, and Delphine Cousin fought for the top places. But the biggest battle was between Erdil and Offringa, both gunning for Korean gold.

Right from the start, it was Offringa who dictated the pace while Erdil didn't have the best of starts. Offringa extended her lead throughout the race, with Cousin in second and Erdil watching her hopes for the event title shatter from third position.

Offringa's first position in the fleet was never in any danger, and the Aruban crossed the finish line not only the winner of the heat, but of the event as well.

"That's it for Korea! What an exciting race it was. Big congrats to these fast Turkish ladies Lena Erdil and Fulya Ünlü," concluded Offringa.
