The British Wavesailing Association (BWA) has released the 2015 Tour calendar.

Time to get those sails out of the garage. The organization led by Geoff Hautman has introduced changes to the BWA Tour schedule, as the competition attracts an increasing number of participants.

"2015 starts with a change to recent tradition, in place of the Wales-Ireland double bill, we have extended the Wales event at Rhosneigr," explains Hautman, the BWA Tour director.

"Not only will this give more opportunity for all fleets to complete a double elimination, but Funsport will be hosting more entertainment and an industry supported equipment demo."

The BWA Tour 2015 will not visit Ireland this season, due to "escalating ferry costs." After a summer break, wave windsurfers head north for seven days of amazing Scottish hospitality at the Tiree Wave Classic.

Two weeks later the BWA Tour 2015 heads to the deepest south for the final event in Cornwall, where the leaders will fight out the coveted Championship titles.

Whether you think of a kite as a wing or a sail, you want it to be lightweight, resistant, waterproof, but also stiff and flexible at the same time, so that they could respond to all flight requests.
