Raph Derome has swept the Pro Men events of the 2013 Summer Jam, at the GoWake Cable Park, in Australia.
Jet Pilot King of the Kicker, Liquid Force Rail Jam and Double Up 2 Tower Challenge. Derome took it all at the 2013 Summer Jam, which attracted a large number of riders.
In the Rail Jam event, Raph was a clear cut winner but the next five places were tightly contested by Mitch Langfield, James Windsor, Daniel Grant, Aaron Gunn and Jamie Neville.
Raph's clean heel 10 was a winner in the King of Kicker, backed up by his double half cab roll which we saw him stomp at will all weekend. Raph also showed a few secret water tricks in the 2 Tower Challenge – enough to put him ahead of the field again with a bag of huge kicker tricks and rail maneuvers.
The Pro Mens Triple 1 Cable event was the only event Raph did not enter and this was taken out by Daniel Grant ahead of Matty Hasler and James Windsor. Daniel won every skate section on the weekend from a strong field that included Australia's best as well as USA riders Danny Hampson and Andrew Fortenberry.
Australian Mayce Dipple climbed the podium also in many of the skate events which is reward for the countless hours he has been putting in for the last 12 months.
