856 competitors from 19 different countries divided over 755 boats and boards, spread over 9 classes competing on 4 course areas. The Dutch Youth Regatta in Workum was again a huge success. For the first time the Techno293 class joined the competition in, what is known as, one of Europe\'s biggest youth events. Four days racing in a wide range of challenging Ijsselmeer conditions. The Techno293 fleet completed 8 races during the weekend. Although the top 3 boys switched positions continuously during the races, at the end Kiran Badloe (NED 194) still dominated by winning 5 of them. The battle for the 2nd and 3rd place had to be decided during the final race, Jort Min (NED 707) and Marc van Santen (NED 211) were on equal points since the event start.
