KB4Girls: one day, kiteboarding will have more fans than football

KB4girls will be guest-starring at the annual KiteJamboree this year being held May 18 -20th in the beautiful Red Sea destination of El Gouna, Egypt at the Red Sea Zone.

The special dedicated clinic will offer female kiteboarders a very special chance to hone their skills with nine time world champion Kristin Boese and to kitesurf together with many other female kiteboarders to take their motivation to the next level.

Kristin Boese, founder of KB4girls says: “To have our KB4girls event be part of the KiteJamboree is especially great since it gives our participants the chance to fly to Egypt not only to be part of our girls’ clinic but also to enjoy other activities going on during the week. They can bring their family, take part in competitions to test their newly learned skills and of course party in the evening or explore beautiful El Gouna.

“Our three day KB4girls event will be the highlight for all female kiteboarders coming to El Gouna for the clinic and I can not wait to get the girls together for a lot of fun and of course to help them learn some new tricks.”

KiteJamboree is an annual kitesurfing event including demos of newest kite gear, competitions, a beach fashion show, parties and more. It is the biggest event of its kind in this part of the globe and brings pro riders and international competitors together with amateur riders. The 3rd annual KiteJamboree will be presented by Red Sea Zone, Kiteboarding Club and El Gouna and take part from May 16th to 23rd, 2010.

"During the 2009 KiteJamboree Kristin ran a great Girls Kite Workshop and a Kite Intro for kids and it was amazing to see her professional way of teaching accompanied by her great personality. To have Kristin and her KB4girls program as a part of Kite Jamboree in 2010 is therefore very special for us and it is going to be a big part of our event. I fully support KB4girls as it is such a great way to promote kitesurfing as the beautiful sport it is," says Mike Zimowski, Owner of Red Sea Zone in El Gouna/Egypt.

There certainly could not be a better spot to hold the KiteJamboree and KB4girls clinic than El Gouna. This self-contained Egyptian city also known as the Venice of Africa, is only 20km away from the Hurghada airport which is in easy reach of most European countries. Beautifully situated on dozens of interconnected islands, providing comfortable relaxation and great fun, El Gouna is blessed by warm winds during most of the year and offers warm water in its shallow azure water lagoons – the perfect Kiteboarding destination for every beginner to pro rider.

While there are only 2 more spots available for the KB4girls event at the Kite Jamboree the registration will close on May 10th. Girls that are interested in the last available slots can register at http://www.kb4girls.com/schedule/egypt-el-gouna.html

The new Seals Balance Pro by EQ earplugs allow surfers to protect their ears and hear everything when wearing them.
When spring and summer start, everyone surfs more often. Also, all-year round surfers are more exposed to severe ear injuries, such as the surfer's ear (Exostosis) and swimmer's ear (Otitis). This problem can be developed after 3000 hours of cold water surfing. Neoprene hoodies and ear plugs are the best way to avoid surgery.
