Mark McCarthy: he loves his new wetsuits

Mark McCarthy has joined Reeflex Wetsuits. The South African rider signed a contract with the Australian brand. Will it be an intercontinental winning blend?

"I have always been really interested in riding for a wetsuit brand that can offer the whole package, not just in terms of relationship and image but believing in the product and the quality of their suits", says McCarthy.

"I can honestly say that Reeflex wetsuits are the most comfortable, durable suits out there! I am really stoked to join an already amazing Reflex team and hope I can do my part", he added.

Mark McCarthy will join Reeflex's current IBA World Tour team riders Dave Winchester, Ryan Hardy and Andrew Lester, who are also chasing that elusive IBA World Tour title.

"I have been watching Mark’s career closely ever since I started Reeflex nearly five years ago. For a rider to maintain his consistency in the top handful of IBA World Tour riders year in year out is a testament to his natural ability, preparation and mental toughness and this is the type of rider we want representing our brand", tells John Barker, Reeflex managing director.

Mark McCarthy was born on the 19th July, 1983. The rider from Richards Bay, in South Africa, has been constructing a steady bodyboarding career in international events and by claiming national bodyboarding titles.
