APB seeks $1m to develop bodyboarding worldwide

The Association of Professional Bodyboarders (APB) is asking fans to help to fund the development of the sport.

The newly-launched APB Members Affiliation invites bodyboarding supporters to pay $10 per year to get access to exclusive content and special merchandising discounts.

"The support from around the world will ensure that we continue to deliver high action content to the passionate fans of the World Tour, and a positive future for bodyboarding," underlines Alex Leon, CEO of APB.

A bodysurfing session in Nazaré with Kalani Lattanzi

Brazilian waterman Kalani Lattanzi has been riding the waves of Nazaré, in Portugal. It's reasonable to expect significant stunts from him in the near future.

Lattanzi, 23, is a familiar face at Praia do Norte so, recently, he became the first bodysurfer to have his name and swim fins in Nazaré's Surfer Wall.

Kalani Lattanzi was born in Maui, but he was raised in Itacoatiara, a pounding shore break wave traditionally home to some of Brazil's best bodyboarders.
