Daniela Hantuchova: hired a pro surfing coach

Daniela Hantuchova, the tennis star from Slovakia, has gone surfing with the coaching tips from pro surfer Julian Wilson.

The blonde tennis player from Central Europe has hit the small waves of Coolum Beach, Sunshine Coast, in Australia.

This was Daniela Hantuchova's second try at surfing. "Just being on the beach and looking at the waves, just being relaxed and very chilled and just completely taking my mind off tennis", the tennis player said.

Hantuchova, 29, had already tried surfing in San Diego, California. This time, Julian Wilson helped her in the take-off moments. "She almost had it on the last wave", revealed Wilson.

The Slovakian tennis beauty is in Australia for the 2013 Brisbane International Tennis Tournament.

Surfing at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games will take place in the ocean, not in a wave pool. The waiting period runs from July 24 to August 9.
